Hudson celebrated TWO big holidays during his 11th month, Thanksgiving and Christmas! It has been so much fun celebrating holidays with this little boy in his first year of life, of course, he won't remember them, but hopefully the pictures we took will be good enough for him. We also celebrated Landon's 24th birthday. It was great!

We spent Thanksgiving with Grandma Anglin. He has been eating solids for a while and we were excited for a big feast. Sadly he got sick a few days before the feast, and by the time Thanksgiving rolled around he was just getting back to eating normal. He didn't want anything to do with the food we put on his tray. He played in the pudding Landon put on his tray, but after that he was more interested in his toys on the floor. It was fun though!

After Thanksgiving we went tree hunting for our Christmas tree, we bought it home and decorated it. We thought Hudson would have a heyday with it, but he left it alone for a while. When he finally discovered there were things he could pull off it, he was very entertained! We had to move all the ornaments up a bit. It was fun to see him try to reach them though.

We spent Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Mortensen, we stayed up late and opened presents on Christmas Eve. Hudson was interested in tearing at the paper, until the toy was revealed, then he was hooked on that toy and the other gifts didn't matter.  Christmas day we visited Grandma Anglin, and Grandpa and Grandma Gummersall. It was great to see everyone, I know Hudson wasn't even sure what was going on, but I know all the grandparents enjoyed time with him.

Its crazy to think he's almost a year old! He has learned to point and will point at what he wants, which is pretty nice. He loves destroying our towers of movies and unloading my kitchen utensil drawer. He loves to make messes, I'm hoping he will start to find enjoyment in cleaning up the mess he makes.

He still loves the vacuum and has found the broom to be pretty cool too. He is standing and walking along furniture really well, still no signs he wants to walk on his own yet, but we know it won't be too long now. He loves the tub and gets really excited to get in, he will stand on the outside of the tub while I'm filling it up and will take off his pants if I pull them down to his knees. He will only start to try to get in when his diaper is off. Pretty cute!

He has almost mastered the stairs, but it takes him a really long time to make it up. He is such a good kid, we love watching him grow. His personality comes out more and more and it is so fun to experience it all.
