It seems that just in the past few months Hudson has grown up so much! He is saying more things, learning more things, and getting into more things. His personality is showing through more and more, he is such a little tease! He loves when Rio chases him with a cracker in his hand, he'll hide behind the recliner and poke out with a mouth full of cracker just to see if Rio is following him.
He's saying cracker, ball, mom, Buba, uh-oh, dada (which he also thinks is baby) no-no and cheese. He loves cheese! Every time we open the fridge, he says, "cheese, cheese, cheese" and runs for the bag of grated cheese. He calls most people mom, and cookies, chips and crackers-are all crackers in his mind, but we're working on it!

Hudson loves his pup! He loves stealing his tennis balls and running into the next room so Rio will chase him so he can throw the ball. He also loves being outside, watching Rio play with balls, frisbees and anything else he can find. Every morning when we let Rio out, Hudson rushes to the window to see him roll in the grass and run around the yard. Rio is still warming up to Hudson, but it's gotten so much better!
He is SOOOO active! He always has something on his agenda. From the moment he gets out of bed in the morning he is off and running. I don't think he would eat if we didn't make him. I also don't think he would sleep if we didn't lay him in his crib. He loves to play with balls most of all. He has a small basketball hoop he plays with and any other ball he can get his hands on. He also really likes the toy cars we got him for Easter.
He has started to notice my baby bump. I try to explain there is baby inside and he say, "dada, dada, dada," but that's about it. He is still loving books, and is catching on to animal noises. He can woof and tweet and he almost has a moo down.He has recently started snuggling with me when he is really tired or needs some comfort. He has always liked to be held with his head on my shoulder, even as a newborn he did this. He has never been much of a cuddler after growing out of those newborn sleepy months, but lately he just wraps his arms around me and lays his head on my shoulder. It melts my heart and I just take the time to hold him and soak it all in.
Hudson has a mind of his own, we can already tell he is going to be a strong willed little boy. We can also tell he is going to be a great big brother. He will sometimes swat at babies but he has gotten better and is super gentle with his baby cousin and so intrigued in what she is doing. We're excited for the example he will be for his younger sister.
I don't post enough pictures on Facebook or other Social Media sights of my little boy. All of these pictures were taken within the last 3 months. Yes, we had a crazy snow storm in February (and I think one in March) It was actually the only time he was able to wear his full on snow suit: LOVE THOSE ROSY CHEEKS! I love this boy with so much of my heart it's insane. There are days he exhausts me so much I just want a break and love putting him down at night, but when morning comes, my heart swells when I see him and know it's true love. What a sweet little boy!
