He is talking more and more. Mostly nothing we can understand and he calls EVERYTHING ball. If I got a dollar every time he said ball, I would be RICH! That is really the only toy we need to get him. He loves any kind of ball, but we've noticed he is a very seasonal sport kind of guy, without any pressure from us. He is really into baseball right now. He will carry his foam bat every where and gets really excited when it happens to flash across the TV. I want him to be more interested in basketball, but what little boy wouldn't love carrying around a bat and a ball. We'll see what happens when football comes around.
We started taking Hudson to nursery in May, at about 16 months. Boy has it been nice! He runs in there and doesn't look back (of course, goes right for the balls) but he loves being able to run around. We come home from church and put him down for a nap immediately. He is still taking two naps a day, which is also nice!Hudson has learned how to climb! He climbs over gates, onto chairs, onto couches. He loves to be outside more than anything (probably not more than having a ball in his hand, but definitely second best). He loves to swing and watch Rio play catch. We planted a garden in May and he loves to take the watering can to the front, fill it with water, and play in it. We've taken him to the pool a few time and he does NOT like it. He clings to us and screams when we try to get him to play on his own. Very strange, and Landon is slightly worried about it (just that he won't grow up to be a swimmer).

He is getting very good at saying mom and dad, along with cheese and keys (I'm really hoping he will pick up please here shortly). He loves to read stories, especially those with dogs involved. Dogs seem to be his favorite right now, whenever he hears them bark he makes his barking noise. We are getting excited about our new arrival. I'm not sure if Hudson really understands yet. He will pat my belly and say da-da (which he calls EVERY baby) and thats about it. It's getting harder to cuddle him with my big belly, but I don't think he notices. We love him more and more every day and are so excited to see him love his little sister.
