2 Months

2 Months

13.5 lbs (87 %)
24 inches (79%)
15.6 inches OFC (39%)
2 Months have really flown, and we can definitely say we have enjoyed every second of it (Well… I can't speak for Landon, but I know I have enjoyed it!).  Hudson is really growing, our biggest problem is when we dress him in his jammies at night, most the time we find his footsie ones are just two small to fit his long body! At about week 7 he started smiling and cooing while he is awake. He also LOVES to be free and able to wiggle! Sometimes he will get fussy while I'm holding him, so I will lay him on the ground and he just wiggles his arms and legs and enjoys the freedom!

He also LOVES his pup Rio! Every time Rio comes into his eye sight he will just stare, and most often smile, and follow him as he moves, especially his tail. I can't quite decide if Rio has taken a liking to him yet, during Hudson's afternoon nap I will put him in his crib and every so often Rio will get curious as to where he is and will go sniff his door to make sure he is there. Other than that our rambunctious five-year-old lab, border collie is still more interested in his ball and frisbee.

Hudson has gotten into the habit of having a bowel movement every 4 days. Which worried me at first, but the doctor said it was normal for breastfed babies, and can even go as long as 14 days, but for now not to let it go longer than 7. We have started going on walks and I will take him on runs, he isn't a huge fan of the carseat, but once he is buckled in and the car is moving he will usually fall asleep.

His cousin Bennett is a lot bigger, Bennett seems to take more of an interest in Hudson, then Hudson does in Bennett, but I'm sure that's just because he is older.

Hudson slept through the night for the first time at about week 8, I found him in his crib with his blankets kicked off and him just smiling. It has been extremely fun watching him grow and develop and become more aware of whats around him. He is such a joy!
