The Usually Unexpected

Landon and I had always planned to start having children as soon as we could. We also had both always wanted me to be a stay at home mom to raise our little rascals. We both knew the importance of education and I was so close to finishing at BYU when we moved that I had to finish up at SUU as quickly as possible. I was lucky in being able to only spend one full year at SUU in order to graduate. We had planned that I could be pregnant my last semester of school. Thankfully, our "plans" worked! We found out I was pregnant mid May and were so excited!!! I was due January 31, 2014, the month after I graduated.

Looking back now I can definitely say the weeks went by so quickly! I was so excited at the time and just wanted our little man here but it really did just fly by!

At our 20 week check-up I was already measuring a week big, changing my due date to January 25th, 2014. That is my brother, Jared's, birthday! He wasn't too excited to share his day and told me to hold him in till the next day! (teasing of course).

In mid september we found out we were having a boy! Landon was so excited he jumped for joy in the ultra sound room!

I gave birth a day over 39 weeks, January 25th 2014. Although my brother was teasing we had a good laugh that his second nephew came on his birthday! We hadn't snagged a picture yet, but that's ok, you can just imagine me a little bit bigger!
